WHEN TO CALL US
We are here to help you whenever you need us and we will do everything possible
to accommodate all of your needs.
As a guideline, you will typically call us first for:
-Questions on use of equipment
-Rescheduling of pick up or delivery
Please provide 24 hours advance notice for additional supplies such as Oxygen Tubing and Nebulizer Kits.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT TRAINING
Please call us at 951-300-9343 and we will provide you additional equipment training resources.
REQUEST FOR EQUIPMENT
Since your hospice nurse or case manager is the individual who chooses which equipment you receive from us, any requests for different or additional items should be directed through them.
EQUIPMENT PICK UP
Typically, all items received from EHP are RENTAL ITEMS provided to you by your hospice agency.
All items that are single use or disposable will be discarded at the patients’ home.
Examples of disposable items are:
•Oxygen tubing & cannulas •Nebulizer tubing & mask •Suction unit canister & tubing •Commode buckets •Egg crate mattresses •Mattress covers
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: PATIENTS WITH ELECTRONIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
In the event of a natural disaster or emergency and the power supply to your home has been disrupted; please contact your hospice provider immediately to arrange for alternate means of continuation of care.
If your hospice provider is unavailable, please call us at 877-347-9343. If due to the emergency, our phones are unavailable, please call 9-1-1.
DELIVERY FOLLOW UP
Over the next 24 hours, a select number of patients will be contacted to provide feedback on the level of service they received and to answer any equipment usage questions they may have.
